Merging 2D, 3D and live action, Illuminated is a visionary saga that is like Stars Wars meets The Matrix meets Spirited Away meets Siddhartha.

At the center of the story is Aya, a young girl in the not too distant future, where humanity has lost the ability to dream. The film charts her journey towards enlightenment as she travels around the world and eludes various forces seeking to contain her, with the help of a guru named Shen. Shen introduces her to different spiritual masters along the way, each of whom helps to upgrade her consciousness with indigenous wisdom, empowering her to save the planet by restoring people’s ability to dream.

It addresses our collective desire to understand our greater purpose on this planet through a teen-aged spritualized superhero and helps us confront many of the challenges currently unfolding before humanity.

Designed to help young people (and old) confront many of the challenges they see unfolding around them, and to capture the exploding spiritualized psychographic, Illuminated crystallizes much of the forgotten wisdom of the past in a form that makes it easily accessible for a global culture eager to explore it.

Illuminated will be deployed online and on mobile platforms in episodic form to build awareness, brand value and revenue while being enhanced for theatrical release (in 3D), developed into a videogame, and repackaged for TV / DVD distribution.
